Unplugged to Reconnect | HDLR 2026

This year at HDLR, you can expect to unplug, reconnect and gain leadership skills that will last through the decades. That's right, new this year we will be facilitating a fully disconnected leadership experience (no cell phones allowed) and we can't wait to see you there!

High Desert Leadership Retreat (HDLR) is an annual youth conference held over Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. During the four-day retreat, youth from throughout Oregon gather at Eagle Crest Resort to engage in skill building, leadership and fun!

Youth are divided into groups of 6-8 peers and two adults who will chaperone their leadership experience. While staying in condos at Eagle Crest Resort, teens work together to develop important life skills such as budgeting, grocery shopping, preparing meals, communal living and more!

Days at the retreat are filling with self selected leadership and skill building sessions. Evenings will include a dance and rec time! Will you pick up the call to build your leadership skills this year?!
