The Master 4-H Shooting Sports Leader Training will provide leaders with information on:

  1. Age appropriate equipment and activities
  2. Risk management
  3. Equipment storage requirements
  4. Teaching skills for classroom and range

All equipment and materials for the workshop will be provided. Safety will be a primary concern.

Please bring your own eye and hearing protection.

Each discipline must have a minimum of FOUR registered participants. Disciplines with low registration are likely to be cancelled.

Full time attendance is required on Saturday and/or Sunday in a 9-hour track to complete the Oregon 4-H Master Shooting Sports Volunteer Training Program in one of the following disciplines: Archery, Coordinator, Hunting Skills, Muzzleloading, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, and Western Heritage (See Option 1). Two disciplines can be obtained during this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at a reduced rate (See Option 2).

Meals:

Meals will be provided as outlined on the schedule above.  Participants may provide their own additional snacks and/or beverages.  Participants with dietary restrictions should contact the Region 4 Coordinator (contact information listed below) to make alternate arrangements.
