The Oregon 4-H Shooting Sports State Contest is the premier event for youth in the 4-H Shooting Sports Program, showcasing their skills and dedication. Participants qualify for this exciting competition through the Mail-in Tournament, with invitations sent out in late spring.
The contest features a wide range of courses of fire, including archery, muzzle loading, pistol, rifle, shotgun, and western heritage, along with a challenging hunting skills competition. This event celebrates the hard work and sportsmanship of Oregon 4-H members while fostering safe and responsible shooting practices.
*Each evening, awards will begin as close to 5:30 PM as possible. Please take time to grab a bite to eat, run into town, or visit with other competitors following your last course of fire and before the Awards begin. Out of respect for your fellow competitors, please plan on staying for the entire Awards Ceremony.
