Judging Beef Cattle and Oral Reasons 101(PNW669)

This booklet will help youth and beginning producers understand the five basic criteria for selecting a beef animal. It will also help beginners in 4-H and FFA livestock judging to understand proper notetaking format, and the structure to oral reasons. It should be used by youth and adults together at club meetings and classrooms, at field days, or at workshops as a livestock judging reference.
