Extension Service Outdoor School
Every Friday starting March 27th, Extension Service Outdoor School will share a curated set of activities that you can use to engage students with the natural world while respecting 'Stay Home, Save Lives'.

Junior Beavs Kids Club
Oregon State Athletics is excited to announce new features for Jr. Beavs Kids Club members during this unprecedented time. Members will receive special engagement opportunities through the Learning Lodge, presented by Your Local Toyota Dealers, with OSU Athletics personnel through physical and mental activities.
Careers in Science Investigation (CSI) Webinar Series
Calling all middle school and high school teachers (grades 6-12)! We are moving our CSI online and we need your help to getting the word out to your students. We will be using a series of webinars to connect students LIVE with professionals working in marine science. Participants will be able to ask questions and engage with researchers from the comfort of their living room! Webinars are currently scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 and Wednesday April 29 at 4 pm. There may be more offerings, so stay tuned. The cost is FREE and pre-registration is required. More information about the presenters and registration is available on our Career Day Website.

“Living Room Learning”
Join Nebraska 4-H each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 2pm CT/1pm MT to complete an activity from the comfort of your own home. Living Room Learning is targeted toward youth in grades 3-5 (along with their parents/caretakers!) and will provide a hands-on virtually guided activity where youth will learn more about healthy living, science, technology, and more! Each session, led by Nebraska Extension faculty/staff from across the state, will last approximately 30 minutes in length and will focus on a new activity that can be completed with materials found at home. Here is an offering from Miles Phillips on the Southern Oregon Coast. The GORP (Guide and Outfitter Recognized Professional) is a certification credential for anyone that is thinking about a career in the outdoor guiding or recreation field. The program is an Extension program that is normally a $239 offering…Miles is offering it for free, for a limited time.
We encourage any youth that is interested in the outdoor service industry to take advantage of this educational opportunity, and receive a certification as well.
