Morrow County works hard to provide the best county fair possible for all residence if Morrow County! The fair provides a gathering place for all communities to showcase their products and skillls. It creates educational, social, cultural and economic opportunities to preserve and promote agriculture and traditions of the entire county.

The Morrow County Youth Livestock Auction is put on by The Morrow County Livestock Growers. Morrow County 4-H appreciates their hard work and dedication to creating opportunities for our youth! During the 2024 Youth Livestock Auction, 133 4-H and FFA members sold their animals. The sale totaled $815,685.34.

The Morrow County Fair takes place the third week in August every year!

The 2025 dates are Wednesday, August 13th through Saturday, August 16th, 2025.

Beef Northwest Youth Livestock Program

The Beef Northwest Youth Livestock Program is specially crafted for 4-H and FFA students who, due to lack of access or experience, are unable to participate in exhibiting livestock at their local county fairs. Through this program, we are offering high-quality steers to eligible students, providing them not only with the livestock needed for participation but also with a valuable educational experience in cattle care and showmanship. Applications and other necessary information will be accepted from November 1st through December 15th, 2024.

Threemile Dairy Heifer Program

Threemile Canyon Farms Dairy and Morrow County Extension have partnered again to offer the opportunity for twelve 4-H members to raise a dairy heifer for Morrow County Fair with minimal input costs. 4-H Youth will apply, complete an interview with their parents and follow the guidelines for the project and Threemile Canyon Farms. In exchange, the 4-H member will be provided a jersey heifer calf to raise, exhibited at the Morrow County Fair in August with the intent that the animal will be returned to the dairy to be bred for production. Applications are due to the Extension Office November 8, 2024.
