We are now recruiting youth, teens and adult leaders to join our 4-H Virtual Neighborhoods. During this challenging time in our local communities, it is now more important than ever that we stay connected.
Virtual 4-H Neighborhood Adult Leaders and 4-H Teens as Teachers connect with, mentor, and nurture shared interests with kids ages 6-13. All Virtual 4-H Neighborhood Leaders are screened, trained and supported by OSU Extension 4-H staff.
Five to six youth buddies per Virtual Neighborhood with an Adult Leader and a Teen Teacher creates personal connections while we are apart. Can be kids in the same home, or friends.
4-H Neighborhood Leaders and Teen Teachers engage youth buddies online through video conferencing once a week for 45 minutes with activities they love and can do from home.
Must have access to a device with video conferencing capability and reliable WiFi. (Please contact us if you would like information about free internet services for families who do no have WiFi.)

How do I Join?
STEP ONE: Follow the links below to complete a Youth Interest Survey or a Leader Interest Survey.
STEP TWO: 4-H Staff will follow up with information on how to register and next steps (4-H Adult Leaders and 4-H Teen Teachers will be required to complete an online training)
STEP THREE: 4-H Staff will match a 4-H Adult Virtual Leader and 4-H Teen Teacher with a group of 4-6 youth based on share common interests
STEP FOUR: Connect with your 4-H Virtual Neighborhood each week for fun and connection!
