Celebrating National 4-H Week

During National 4-H Week – October 7-13, 2018 – communities across Oregon are Inspiring Kids to Do things for others. The calendar of activities has a different idea for each day this month.

This coincides with the kick-off to the National Youth Science Day experiment where kids are learning to Code Your World, which invites kids to get involved in computer science through hands-on doing. A four-part challenge kit teaches kids ages 8-14 to apply computer science to the world around them through activities.

Learn more about how to get involved with 4-H in your county, and use #InspireKidstoDo when sharing photos or videos on social media of your kids doing fun, hands-on activities.

It is also the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents Annual Conference, this year held in Columbus, Ohio. Many of OSU Extension Service's 4-H faculty will be presenting workshops, receiving awards, and providing key national leadership to committees and programs.
