Which potato varieties can be stored the longest?

Q:

Hello! I want to grow potatoes in my garden, and I am wondering which seeds I should select. The most important factor to me is how long they can be stored, so that I can enjoy them long after harvest.

A:

Most potato varieties will easily last 6 months or more under proper storage conditions, such as in a cool, dark basement.
