Insect Investigations & Pollinators in the Schoolyard Educator Workshop
Engage your students in outdoor science investigations as a regular part of your school curriculum, using multiple perspectives, observational skills, & science practices aligned with NGSS and CC standards. This Educator Workshop is for teachers and informal educators working with grades 3-8 and will be held in conjunction with the OSU Extension BEEvent Pollinator Conference. We will be learning from entomology experts with a focus on pollinators and Monarch butterflies. The day will be a mix of exploring hands-on insect curriculum, BEEvent speakers and resource connections suitable for schoolyard pollinator projects. Receive the new Project WILD guide (if you don’t already have it) and other science based curriculum. 6 PDU’s available.
