Use your road maintenance dollars effectively. Learn to assess your existing road for potential problems and prioritize repairs. Workshop covers maintenance and improvement techniques, water quality and aquatic habitat concerns, regulations, contracts, technical and financial assistance available to small woodland owners.  The workshop starts in the morning with an indoor session, then will be in the field in the afternoon.  Includes snacks and a copy of the book Managing Woodland Roads Field Guide.

Instructors are Francisca Belart, OSU Forestry & Natural Resources Extension (FNR) Extension harvest Specialist, Jon Sounder, OSU FNR Extension Watershed Specialist, Steve Kendall, ODF Stewardship Forester, Linn County, and Brad Withrow-Robinson, OSU FNR Extension agent for Benton, Linn and Polk Counties.
