Oregon Season Tracker Citizen Science Volunteers are people like you:

  • They are trained observers helping to track local weather and native plant seasonal changes
  • They collect data from their own backyard, farm, woodland, or schoolyard.
  • Their time commitment is around 20 minutes a week.
  • Their data helps OSU researchers studying weather, climate & ecology in Oregon and beyond.

How to join:

Register and complete a self-paced online training at home (approx. 2-3 hrs.) and THEN attend local hands-on skill building classroom session. 

  • Registration opens July 1, 2019 at 1:00 pm and closes July 19th
  • Classroom session Mon. July 22, 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Monroe Community Library

To access OSU Extension online Canvas program must use Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Facebook (all offer free email accounts) or OSU email to register.
