6955 Gold Creek Rd.
Willamina, OR 97396
Get a hands-on experience with a new prototype sawmill with a log capacity of 30 to 40 inches in diameter, and length up to 75 feet. We will discuss all sorts of sawmills, get a copy of the Sawmill and Woodlot Management magazine, discuss important factors in having a sawmill, and work up a couple of logs. If you have a log sitting around that you want turned into boards, throw it in the truck and c’mon out. Sponsored by the Marion-Polk Chapter of the Oregon Small Woodlands Association (OSWA).
Directions: about 30 miles west of Salem and about 4 miles past Willamina. Take Hwy 22 west from Salem about 27 miles to the Willamina Jct.
