Weed control plays a crucial role in the successful establishment and ongoing growth of trees in both forestry and forest restoration.

This field workshop, hosted by OSU Extension and the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District, will take participants on a field trip to explore several sites, providing an opportunity to learn from real-world experiences in forest vegetation management and invasive weed control. Attendees will gain insights into effective weed management strategies including the use of herbicides, non-chemical alternatives, and integrated pest management techniques for selecting and combining the best methods.
