Planting Forest Tree Seedlings

This field workshop will review the basic steps in tree planting, site preparation, seedling types and care, and more. After a discussion about planting, we will move onto the hands-on portion. A variety of tools and seedling stock types and species will be provided to help plant part of the forest in need of restoration at Hopkins Demonstration Forest.

Coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided, if you'd like to stay for lunch bring your own and we can discuss seedlings, planting, and more by the fire of the Poppino Pavilion!

Dress for the weather and be prepared for hands-on learning.
