“Fire in the landscape: history, adaptation, and mitigation in Clatsop County”

Fire has played a key role shaping Clatsop County’s landscape. Large, infrequent wildfires are usually associated with preceding drought and east wind events. This talk will cover coastal fire history, prescribed fire as a land management tool, and steps you can take to prepare for fire.
