Beekeeping is a rewarding experience. Being in nature, working with your buzz-y friends, and harvesting your own honey! Learning how to work with your bees efficiently, safely, and cleanly is extremely important. Join the Umpqua Valley Beekeepers Association and OSU Extension for a live-hive-dive. During this workshop, we will be opening beehives, checking on the status of the bees, and looking at indicators of bee health and hive health. This workshop will be lead by experienced beekeepers from the Umpqua Valley Beekeepers Association.

Please note: There will be live bees at this event. It is strongly recommended that you bring your beekeeping equipment to this event. We will have a limited amount of beekeeping gear to loan out for this event, please note if you need to borrow beekeeping gear in the registration.
