If the deadline is not already posted above, please continue to check your emails from 4honline and the 4-H Four-cast; your club leader should also tell you. We will announce the registration deadline fair in advance so you have time.

After clicking "check out" on the Fair Registration website, you'll see a Confirmation Page with all your information. You will also receive a Confirmation Email to the email address you listed. If you do not see your Confirmation Email, look in your Spam and Trash folders.

You can easily log back in to your account at any time using the youth's Name and Password. Then you can add more Classes and "check out" again.

If you have trouble logging in, please DO NOT create a new account--contact the 4-H office.

If you have already "checked out" and received your Confirmation Email then realize you need to add another Class, you can log in again and add a new class. Do not create a new account, but use the same log-in. If you need to remove or change a class, please contact the Extension Office at 541-776-7371.

If you missed the registration deadline and would like 4-H to consider a late entry, you must submit a Variance Request Form, and let your Club/Project Leader know that you are still planning on registering.

Filling out the Variance Request Form does not guarantee you will be allowed to register after the deadline.

The Fair Classes & Rules (usually broken into sections by project area) are posted in the spring on this webpage for club leaders and 4-H members to review.

Talk to your Club or Project Leader and Superintendent, read the Fair Classes & Rules booklets, and read the 4-H Four-cast to help you decide which classes to register for.

For many projects (specifically animals), you must be signed up for the project in advance in 4honline when you enrolled or re-enrolled in 4-H; but for other projects (such as many of the Static, or non-animal projects), you don't necessarily have to be in a club for that project to enter something in the fair. So maybe try something new, like a fun art project or a cool science experiment!

Your 4-H Age is determined on September 1st of the current 4-H Year (which runes from September 1st-August 31st, like the school year). So if it's fair time, your child has likely had a birthday since September 1st, making their 4-H Age and their current age different. However, just like the age cut-off to determine which grade your child enters in school, 4-H determines your child's 4-H Age Division (Cloverbud, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior) by the child's 4-H Age. This method ensures that a child has been their Age Division for the entire 4-H year before competing at fair.

We highly encourage you refer to the 4-H Age Division Chart to determine your child's 4-H Age and Age Division before registering for Fair. Registering your child for the incorrect class could cause them to lose an award.
