Tree School is in Lincoln County and will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Waldport High School. This mini-college features 24 classes on a wide variety of topics of interest to family forestland owners, professional foresters, loggers, arborists, teachers, and forest enthusiasts of Northwest Oregon.
The day-long event offers classroom sessions taught by Extension foresters, professional foresters, and other natural resource management professionals. Classes are 1.5 hours long and you can participate in up to four over the course of the day.
We have broadened our class selections this year to include basic forestry topics for traditional woodland owners as well as those interested in pollinators and forest mushrooms. There’s something for everyone. Snacks and a great lunch are included in your registration to keep your energy level high!
Please complete your registration by February 27 (no walk-ins allowed), so act now to reserve your spot in this fun and informative forestry program. The registration fee is just $60 per person. This year, late registration will be available from February 14 through February 27, however the fee will go up to $75 after February 13. Bring the family so you can take advantage of as many class offerings as possible. Feel free to share this catalog with your friends, neighbors, and any others you think might benefit from the program. Additional copies can be requested by calling our office.
