This non-credit online course covers the main components of vineyard design and management. This course is for those industry members seeking continuing education or for those new to vineyard production. Focus will be placed on the importance of making informed decisions by understanding impacts on grapevine growth, physiology, and available resources that includes time, labor, and capital.

Course details

The class will be held live online Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 - 9:30 AM.

You can participate in lectures in one of two ways:

1. Live online access

2. Watch recorded lectures online

Live online participation is encouraged to enhance participation. Participants get access to all presented materials online for one year. There is no required course work or exams. Individuals may elect to complete course work for a certificate of completion.

Registration

Register online before February 11, 2026.

Early bird registration rate of $500 is effective through January 26, 2026. Registration on or after January 27, 2026 will increase to $600.

Registration is limited.

Instructor

The course is taught by Dr. Patty Skinkis, Professor and Viticulture Extension Specialist.
