Community Projects

In partnership with the Clatsop County Master Gardener Association (CCMGA), Master Gardener volunteers in Clatsop County help their community through the following projects:

Plant Clinics at the:
- OSU Extension Office (weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Seaside Wednesday Market (weekly on Wednesdays)
- Astoria Sunday Market (bimonthly on Sundays)
Demonstration and Learning Gardens:
- Alderbrook Learning Garden
- Demonstration Garden at the Clatsop County Fair & Expo Center
- Flavel House Gardens
- Gray School Community Garden
- Seaside Railroad Learning Garden
- Sunset Beach Education Center (Yeon House) gardens and prairie
Annual spring educational event and plant sale
Seed to Supper course
Youth Program
Cannon Beach Food Pantry Tomato Plant Project
Seed Libraries
Scholarship for post-secondary education
'Grow a row' produce donation to food banks from home gardens
