Binder Dibbles
Several different tools are often needed to accomplish the set of tasks related to planting seeds including breaking up the soil, creating a furrow, seed placement at appropriate depth and distances, and then covering the furrowed seeds with soil.
The new Binder Dibble is designed to successfully perform all these several functions and designed to meet the unique requirements of the school garden environment.
- Rounded edges that can be used with force to successfully and safely accomplish multiple tasks.
- Easily cleaned and sanitized as preferred by educators.
- Brightly colored so will not easily get lost in the outdoors learning spaces.
- Durable materials that will not easily break down in sunlight or break with force of repeated use.
- Uniquely designed to be stored in a three-ringed binder to both minimize limited classroom space and visually reinforce outdoor learning in the indoor classroom.
Binder Dibble designed by engineering students in the Prototype Development Laboratory at OSU.
