meeting with representatives from that
Community or advocates for that

understand How to scope the presentation
the needs What Level are they at in
terms of their current understanding and
How do we approach that and Take them to
the Next Level I think the most
important thing that we try to convey at
these groups generally about
preparedness has to do with having your
own agency that you can mitigate the
impacts of hazards by taking protective
actions and the actions That everyone
can Take When we Start Talking About
cascadia and more acute hazards the real
message is as severe as the cascadia
impacts May be there are steps that they
can take to protect themselves and their
