This year, our Field Day is going to look a little different. Julia Mahood will be joining us for a special field day focused on everything drones! In-hive demos of drone frames, discussions of brood health, drones and Varroa assessment, drone marking practice as a proxy for marking queens, preparing drone frames to take home to your own apiary, and more! OMB Master student Diana Dickinson will also be offering a special honey tasting - she is researching taste preferences related to different honey extraction techniques.
