Become a Master Gardener

2024 OSU Master Gardener Training in Jackson County

  • Interactive 14-week course
  • From January 24 - April 24, 2024

Online Learning through Course Modules

  • Weekly Modules to complete on your own
  • Assigned readings, weekly quizzes, & exam

In-person, Hands-On Garden Labs

  • Weekly on Wednesdays from 1pm-4pm
  • At the OSU Extension Office in Central Point

Volunteer requirement

  • A minimum of 45 volunteer hours to be completed by 31 October 2024
  • Volunteer in the Plant Clinic, demonstration gardens, and a variety of educational projects and activities

Cost

  • $300 + 45 volunteer hours
  • Payment plan and needs-based scholarship available

  • Attend an Interest Meeting to get program details and class registration code
