Severe drought requires creative solutions to our landscaping needs. This presentation will cover principles of waterwise landscaping, including the use of drought-tolerant plants,sprinkler schedules, and overall water conservation, as well as basic stormwater management.

Kora Mousseaux is the Community Water Resource Conservationist at Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District. Now in her eighth year in the District, she provides technical and financial assistance to landowners in Jackson County, to implement stewardship projects that protect and conserve water and other natural resources. Kora has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Southern Oregon University and has lived in the Rogue Valley for 24 years.

The Sustainable Living Series is presented by the Oregon State University Extension Land Steward Program, Master Gardener™ Program, and the Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District.
