Keeping vampires out of my blueberry patch, garlic flavored blueberries?

A:

Your garlic will grow normally even if it grows next to a blueberry plant. It would be interesting but the flavors will not mingle. However, blueberry plants prefer acid soils of a pH between 4.5-5.5. Garlic grow well at soil pH of 6 or more (6.5 ideal). That means they may not grow well together unless the soil pH is adjusted for each plant.
