Organic matter is one of the most important components of healthy soil. Compost is how you add organic matter to the soil. Learn how to make good healthy compost.

In this class, we’ll have examples of materials and tools you’ll need to become a compost master. We’ll also talk about using amendments to make your compost more plant specific.

Instructor Biography:

Regina Boykins completed the Jackson County Master Gardener Program in 2015. Since then, she has been part of the team managing Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center’s Compost Demonstration Garden. Regina is an avid gardener and is always willing to learn new techniques and teach others.
