With a nutrition educator as your guide and coach, this class will be a fun and interactive way to cook, either alone or with your family. We will be focusing on the cooking skill of cutting and dicing different vegetables, using different knife techniques as we make a new and nutritious seasonal Veggie Stew recipe that just might become a regular weeknight staple. For this month, we'll cook the Food Hero recipe, Veggie Stew. Your educator will provide resources for ingredient substitutions as well as tips for bringing out the flavor in simple ingredients!
Pre-registration is required, and a shopping list will be provided after you register. You will need to source the recipe ingredients yourself prior to the class.
This one-hour cooking session will be conducted virtually and requires the use of either a smartphone or a computer with internet connection. Please come prepared to participate (and cook the recipe if you can), as we will all be learning from each other!
