Emergency Preparedness: Food & Water Storage

Mother Nature has given us several warnings recently - are you prepared for emergencies?

The workshop will include information on kinds of food that store well, tips for water storage showing different kinds of filters and storage ideas, as well as alternative cooking sources. The workshop will include some interactive activities giving you a chance to practice decision making when emergencies happen, and will also cover critical thinking tips on what foods are safe and what is not safe when prolonged power outages occur. The workshop will also include ideas for an emergency car kit and what to do for your pets.

Fee: $20, includes hardy snacks and handouts.
