Tuna Canning Workshop
Learn to use a pressure canner to preserve up to 24 half-pint jars (per family) of the best tuna you’ve ever tasted!
Priority given to first time students.
The Cost is $60 Plus cost of Tuna to be determined, based on current market price to be paid at class, cash or check only. Approximately $3-$4 per jar
Bring wide-mouth, half-pint jars with lids. Indicate number of jars you will can. Optional: apron, sharp knife, cutting board.
Bring a lunch. Wear closed toe shoes.
Take 4 classes and get a $35 credit toward the 5th class you take with the Lane County Master Food Preservers!!
The class will be held on Saturday, August 18th, 9 AM- Finished at Food for Lane County, 770 Bailey Hill Road.
