In this class, you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to safely can tuna at home. You'll practice canning tuna using current, research-based instructions. You'll also learn how to safely make Refrigerator Pickles! Registration includes fresh frozen tuna, ingredients for making quick pickles, hands-on instruction, printed resources and beverages.

Each participant will take home approximately one pound of canned tuna, as well as one pint of refrigerator pickles. One lucky participant will also take home an Oregon State University Extension Service Lincoln County apron!
