This six week training to be a Master Gardener volunteer covers many gardening topics. The sessions are available as a drop in class for those who are interested in only learning about specific topics for $10 per session or $15 for the day.

  • January 12th - Intro to Master Gardener Program & Beekeeping 101
  • January 19th - Soils, Fertilizers and Compost; Botany Basics; Culture of Gardening by Abra Lee
  • January 26 - Entomology & Integrated Pest Management
  • February 2 - Pesticide Safety & Gardening with PNW Native Plants; Vegetable Gardening on the Coast
  • February 4 - Pruning Field Trip
  • February 9 - Coastal Berries; Plant Pathology & Diagnosing Plant Problems
  • February 16 - Native Tree ID and Diseases; Office Procedures, Plant Clinic, Sign ups and Volunteer Possibilities
