Seasoned gardeners make cuts for the right reason, at the right time, in the right location of the plant. This class will discuss each aspect by integrating our knowledge of horticultural science. You will learn how to properly use pruning cuts to achieve the result you want while minimizing damage to your plant.
Our speaker Sherry Sheng is an Oregon State University Extension Master Gardener who leads and teaches for the award-winning 10-Minute University™ Program. She began teaching gardening classes in 2006 and has many instructional videos to her credit. Sherry gardens at home, at a community garden plot, and co-manages a pollinator garden at a State Park.
A recording of this class will be posted at www.cmastergardeners.org/10-minute-university, after the event.
