Topics include compost chemistry; composting methods, including hot, cold, sheet, bokashi and worm bin composting; organisms in the compost; the environmental impact of solid waste; trends and issues of commercial compost; and Love Food Not Waste.
Participants will also have hands-on experience of various types of composting. Applications are available in the Spring each year.
