Community Forestry Day - November

WE NEED YOUR HELP to create, support, and maintain forestry education opportunities at Hopkins. this is your chance to learn by doing a variety of projects in a sustainably managed woodland.
November projects include:
- Eagle Scout Bridge Replacement Project. We will have a team of scouts working on an Eagle Project and they could use some help assisting them with lumber preparation, earth moving, and overall support.
Lumber Milling for Raised Seedling Beds and Cedar Siding.. The need continues to mill the lumber for various projects as well as siding for the new addition to the Sawmill Building.
Welcome Center Entrance Development and Enhancement. Some arbor work, design/planning, and clean-up needs to occur around the Welcome Center to get it ready for becoming a new access point to the forest.
