Introduction to Wildlife Habitats and Habitat Management
996 Jefferson Street
Eugene, OR 97402
Your forested property isn't only a home and playground for you, it's a home and playground for our state's great wildlife. Did you know Oregon is home to over 500 species of wild bees? Can you identify the neotropical migrating birds that visit your shrubs to nest in the spring? Curious who's leaving their paw prints in your driveway? Join us for this four session wildlife series. We'll start with a discussion on management activities to maintain and build wildlife habitat. Then we'll have presentations focusing on birds, bees, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and fish. Session one is required as a foundation for the rest, but feel free to take one, all, or any combination of sessions 2, 3 and 4.
