Save the Date. Nov. 8th will be the back up workshop day if Nov. 4th is not an approved burn day.

Managing with fire safely starts with you. Learn how to safely and effectively burn slash on your property. Join us for a hands-on slash burning training for private landowners and natural resources professionals. We'll start the morning indoors learning about fire and building a great pile, then in the afternoon we will burn some piles together.

Topics include:

  • fire science
  • managing with fire
  • smoke management
  • how to build an effective pile
  • safety
  • and more!

We are excited to partner with the Northwest Fire Science Consortium, The Nature Conservancy, The Long Tom Watershed Council, The Oregon Department of Forestry, and LRAPA on this workshop.
