How should I water my potatoes?

A:

The goal of watering potatoes is to get the water source as close to the roots as possible without getting water on the leaves.  If you can get your drip system to snake around the plants, the water should reach enough roots to provide adequate hydration.  Here is an Extension article on potato care: Grow your own potatoes (https://extension.oregonstate.edu/gardening/techniques/grow-your-own-potatoes)
