You can make a difference
Extension volunteers help us serve communities across Oregon. Master-level volunteers are trained by university experts and in turn dedicate their time to teaching and enriching their communities.

A message from OSU President Alexander: Moving forward together
"By engaging in important conversations about race and racism, justice and equity; by learning from each other; and by taking specific actions, we will constantly strive to advance the culture of belonging, collaboration and innovation that we aspire to in the university’s strategic plan. And we will provide a transformative education that is accessible for all learners – another goal of our strategic plan...Let us act together." Read the full statement. A message from Vice Provost Anita Azarenko: Acting together for change
"OSU Extension stands behind the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence. We stand and act against actions that continue to perpetuate systemic racism and maintain other societal inequities. I call on each member of our Extension community to learn, engage and act to help ensure that everyone—those we serve and aspire to serve—is welcome, safe and valued." Read the full statement.
