Do you enjoy reading books with animal characters?

Do you love Jack London’s Buck or Shelby Van Pelt’s octopus, Marcellus?

Who couldn’t love Garth Stein’s Enzo or Leonie Swann’s flock of sheep trying to solve their shepherd’s murder?

If you’d like to create your own animal characters, join us for this fun writing workshop led by certified Oregon Naturalist, Elizabeth Beechwood. We’ll explore not only animals but also mythical creatures, and discover how we can make these amazing characters come alive for readers. You don’t need any writing experience to enjoy this workshop – just bring a fun-loving spirit and your favorite writing implements!
