Nick is dedicated to learning about and supporting missions of sustainability in environmental and individual health. Nick has a strong analytical background built on a Bachelor's in Accounting and Real Estate with a minor in French from Villanova University and almost four years in Price Waterhouse Coopers' federal consulting practice. While supporting several agencies through internal control reviews, financial analysis and planning, and stakeholder coordination and outreach, Nick observed the complexity of delivering social support services.
Since 2019, Nick has sought more hands-on involvement in educational, financial, and sustainable support, first with a transition to Peace Corps Service in Togo, West Africa as a Sustainable Agriculture Education Volunteer, then to COVID-19 contact tracing following the global Peace Corps evacuation, and an internship in sustainable farming. Nick's goals include developing the skills and enterprise to deliver sustainable food and food systems education to underserved groups, networking with local food producers and distributors, working on his own home garden, and learning about sustainability, from where it starts in healthy families and communities to the ways that we can collectively steward a healthy planet.
Nick currently enjoys staying active and connected to the beauty of southern Oregon by learning its hiking and biking trails as well as its rich history.
