Dry Farm Field Day at OSU Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture
844 SW 35th St
Join us for our annual field day at the home site for the OSU Dry Farming Project! This will be a drop-in style event with one 30 minute guided field tour starting promptly at 5pm. Come see dry farmed potatoes, tomatoes, dry beans, melons, and winter squash irrigated once when planted in May and not thereafter. There will also be an opportunity to do side-by-side tastings of irrigated and dry farmed tomatoes and melons, visit with dry farmers and researchers, and learn about the various research projects engaging with the Dry Farming Collaborative including variety trials, site suitability study, fungal inoculant study, and more!
