Problematic Plants in Pastures Workshop with Plant ID

Many pastures and rural areas have weeds that can be poisonous or harmful to livestock. In this class, we will learn to identify the most common toxic and problematic weeds and how to reduce them on your property with better weed and grazing management strategies.

We will have several real plant samples for people to look at, and participants are encouraged to bring in their own pasture weeds for identification. If you are unsure if the weed is toxic, wear long sleeves, long pants, and gloves when collecting your samples and bring them in a disposable bag.
