Whether you have lived in the country your whole life, just purchased land or want to live rurally, there is a lot to know! This class will give an overview of soils and Oregon Water Rights, and provide information on how to get along with neighbors, maintain your special tax assessment (often incorrectly called “EFU” status…but several types exist!), and manage fence lines, waterways, easements, and roads. Feel free to submit questions in advance so the speakers can be sure to address your needs, [email protected]

Speakers: Lorrie Williams, Jackson County Assessor’s Office and Angela Boudro, OSU Extension Small Farms
