Have you considered raising rabbits, alpacas, llamas, emus or ostriches? What about Yaks, bison deer or elk?
Come learn about the various alternative livestock options!
Broadly defined, alternative livestock can be any non-traditional animal raised on your farm or property.

The class will cover

  • regulation and zoning restrictions
  • nutritional requirement for the animals
  • cost/benefit analysis
