This class will provide an overview of the significant carbon-storage opportunities that exist in private woodlands across the United States, particularly in the Northwest. We will explore the benefits of long-term forest management for carbon storage and associated co-benefits. We will also discuss how carbon-project development works and how small-woodland owners can access and benefit from the carbon credits market.
