Forest Roads: Assessment, Maintenance, and Improvement

NOTE: This workshop has been cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. We're looking at possible fall dates for rescheduling.
Fundamentals of forest roads, their implications for water quality, regulations for road use and placement, contracts, technical and financial assistance for forest road improvement.
Morning session will be held at the Union County OSU Extension Office, conference room. Afternoon session will be at a nearby field site. Participants will be encouraged to carpool to field site. Mid-morning refreshments provided.
Bring your bag lunch, and clothing/footwear appropriate for outdoor activity on potentially muddy forest roads.
