Oregon Forest Pest Detector Introduction

This video introduces the Oregon Forest Pest Detector program, which aims to equip green industry professionals and outdoor volunteers to be able to identify invasive forest pests (such as the emerald ash borer and Asian longhorned beetle) and how to report them to the appropriate agencies. If we are able to identify and eliminate these invasive pests early on in an invasion, our chances are much greater in eradicating the species before they become established, ultimately protecting our environment and economy in Oregon.
