Middle- and high-school students prepared the recipes in their home kitchens and the group met online weekly to discuss basic nutrition information, learn cooking skills, and share cooking experiences with each other.
OSU Extension SNAP-Ed educators who participate in the field trips send the students home with resources related to their lessons so that they can share important health and well-being information with their families.
